Campground Rules
We are working hard to ensure enjoyable experiences for all of our guests and expect an equal level of respect. Please help us keep our park as the best place to hideaway and escape by following our rules, and have a great time!
For the safety of our guests, staff, and visitors, Canyon Hideaway & Escape employs camera surveillance equipment for security purposes. This equipment is in use 24/7 and data is stored as a means of detecting and assisting in the investigation of any criminal activity.
Campsites: Site fee is based on 2 adults and up to 2 dependents (children under 18). No more than 4 people per site unless approved by management. A fee of $10 per person per day maybe applied. Please do not walk through another campsite for any reason at any time.
RV/Trailer: 1 RV/trailer per site and up to 1 canopy is allowed.
Tent: Tent sites are based on one immediate family (limited to 4). 1 tent per site & 1 canopy or child tent is allowed. Additional tents must be approved by management. Additional fees may be applied.
Vehicles: Only 1 registered vehicle allowed in each site at any time. Vehicle must fit within the space provided and must have parking pass. Additional vehicles or trailer(s) must be registered with the office and kept in overflow parking. Additional parking may be subject to visitor fee
Check In Time: After 1:00 unless prior arrangements have been made. Late check in maybe available upon request.
Check Out Time: 12pm. Due to previous reservations, if you plan on staying longer, the earlier you re-register, the better your chance of keeping your site. Late check out maybe available upon request. Please ensure your campsite is free and clean of all debris before you check out.
Children: We want children to be safe and to have a good time, but always under the watchful eyes of a parent/guardian. All children under 14 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times. We will not be held responsible for the safety or wellbeing
of your child/children. You are liable for their behavior. Children under 14 must be accompanied in all Canyon Hideaway’s facilities (bathhouse, office, etc.).
Guests: Guests/visitors not staying overnight are allowed and must be registered with the campground office. Guest vehicles must park in overflow parking and display parking pass.
Quiet Time: 10pm to 7am – Please be considerate of others. No loud music at any time.
Speed Limit: Please observe a speed limit of no more than 5mph. We are a family/pet friendly campground, so please drive cautiously and be aware of your surroundings.
Pets: Pets must be registered with the office and the Pet Rules & Regulations must be followed. Pets must be on a leash at all times when not in camper. No pets may be left tied in camp site without supervision. Please clean up after your pet. Aggressive pets will not be tolerated.
Garbage: Garbage pickup is provided at 10am for campground. Please have your trash in a tied bag and placed in front of campsite. Dumpsters are provided within the campground and shall be used for personal garbage only. All boxes must be broken down. NO ASHES maybe disposed in dumpsters. Ash disposal shall remain in space fire ring and will be cleaned as necessary by campground staff. Cleanliness of the campground is important to us. Sites are to be kept clean and orderly, as determined by management. Please DO NOT leave trash out over night.
FIREWORKS ARE PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES.
Campfires: Campfire use is on day to day bases depending on fire weather. Day to day burning restrictions will be posted and enforced by campground management. Campfires must remain contained within provided fire ring, kept to a reasonable and safe size. CAMPFIRES ARE TO NEVER BE LEFT UNATTENDED. Canyon Hideaway is not responsible for any damage resulting from misuse. Please Use With Care.
Firewood: No Outside Wood is Permitted. Please do not bring firewood into our campground. We offer premium local firewood and the first bundle is free ($5 per bundle afterward). PLEASE USE WITH CARE!
Conduct: Canyon Hideaway & Escape is not a party campground – we are family friendly. Disorderly conduct, drunkenness, illegal drugs, marijuana, obscene language, obnoxious disrupted or vulgar behavior will not be tolerated. Person(s) caught in violation of this rule are subject to immediate eviction without a refund.
Smoking is prohibited in campground and/or facilities. Smoke only inside your own RV/trailer/tent.
Illegal drugs and/or marijuana are prohibited in campground.
Alcohol use: Consumption that results in public intoxication will be reported to authorities.
These rules are for the health, cleanliness, legality and welfare of all.
Management reserves the right to evict or refuse services to any person or persons who break or disregard any rules without refund. Management reserves the right to refuse anyone. Management reserves the right to make changes to the rules, regulations and fees when necessary.
We know most RV’ers/tenants to be some of the most helpful, honest and kind people in the world with good common sense, needing no written rules as they already honor the welfare and rights of others. These rules are to guide those who are new to RV’ing and or camping.
